I know this is my second post today, but I'm bored and have nothing better to do.. Almost always, my new years resolution tends to deal with getting in shape, skinny and healthier. Usually I try it out for a few weeks or months, but gradually I fall off that healthy path and back to binging and being lazy. I think my problem is that I jump into it too fast. I'll try to jump into 5 times a week workouts and a strick low-calorie diet that's a quick fix. This year I want to simplify my goal so that I can have long term results. Essentially, all I want is to feel better about myself and to be proud to be me. Getting active and in shape I think will boost my confidence and help me get back "out there" (lol) and making friends.
So this is it:
Bad foods list:
Chips, ice-cream, chocolate, pasta, pop, cookies, white bread, fried anything, processed frozen anything, liquid calories...lattes, hot chocolate, etc, cheese, coffee
Good foods list:
Brown bread, stir fries, veggies, fruit, salads, chicken, nuts, tea
I want to try and keep things simple. If I decide to treat myself, it would be 1 cookie or a small hot chocolate.. not 10 cookies and a extra large hot chocolate with whipped cream. Hopefully by making these changes I'll be able to lose some weight. All of my munching out has led me to gain almost 20 pounds. I'm now almost around 150. Yuck.n
For my work-outs, I want to start with 2 days a week. Gradually, I want to get up to going 4 days a week. I want to LIKE going to the gym! If I'm forcing myself and in a bad mood before I even get there, I doubt this will ever stick.
Anyways, I'm gonna watch another episode of Pretty Little Liars (so so good and addicting!). Wish me luck on my diet/lifestyle change!
