Master Cleanse

This spring/summer it is my goal to get in shape and have that gorgeous body I've always wanted. My goal for the next four months is to drop 15 pounds. Currently I sit at about 135, after this summer of running, lifting, healthy cooking, and lifestyle I hope to be a trim 120 pounds. After yo-yo dieting, it's finally got through to me that that is NOT the way to permanently lose weight (as 135 is my unlucky number). By doing this Master Cleanse, I wish to clean out my body in preparation for healthy eating and more motivation than ever.

I bought all of the ingredients for the "lemonade" today. I'm really looking forward to starting this cleanse later this week. Especially since for the past couple of weeks I've been very lazy and eating too much for a person my size; it's making a nasty visual impact on my body. Tomorrow I'll be having a soy burger on a whole wheat bun with a salad for dinner before I start the cleanse on Wednesday.

Maybe it's first-post-excitement, but I think by keeping a journal I'll be more successful in my weight loss and moving towards a permanent healthy lifestyle.
