New Years Resolution

I know this is my second post today, but I'm bored and have nothing better to do.. Almost always, my new years resolution tends to deal with getting in shape, skinny and healthier. Usually I try it out for a few weeks or months, but gradually I fall off that healthy path and back to binging and being lazy. I think my problem is that I jump into it too fast. I'll try to jump into 5 times a week workouts and a strick low-calorie diet that's a quick fix. This year I want to simplify my goal so that I can have long term results. Essentially, all I want is to feel better about myself and to be proud to be me. Getting active and in shape I think will boost my confidence and help me get back "out there" (lol) and making friends.

So this is it:

Bad foods list:
Chips, ice-cream, chocolate, pasta, pop, cookies, white bread, fried anything, processed frozen anything, liquid calories...lattes, hot chocolate, etc, cheese, coffee

Good foods list:
Brown bread, stir fries, veggies, fruit, salads, chicken, nuts, tea

I want to try and keep things simple. If I decide to treat myself, it would be 1 cookie or a small hot chocolate.. not 10 cookies and a extra large hot chocolate with whipped cream. Hopefully by making these changes I'll be able to lose some weight. All of my munching out has led me to gain almost 20 pounds. I'm now almost around 150. Yuck.n

For my work-outs, I want to start with 2 days a week. Gradually, I want to get up to going 4 days a week. I want to LIKE going to the gym! If I'm forcing myself and in a bad mood before I even get there, I doubt this will ever stick.

Anyways, I'm gonna watch another episode of Pretty Little Liars (so so good and addicting!). Wish me luck on my diet/lifestyle change!

Let it snow!

We got a tonne of snow last night! It's officially starting to look like winter. I've been so lazy all morning. Laying in bed, watching Pretty Little Liars and eating chocolates. This morning, I finally ordered tickets for the club we're going to on New Years. I'm really looking forward to it! For my outfit, I'm wearing a sequin skirt and a sheer black top with tights and heels. Last year was terrible, so I'm hoping it's going to be a good night.

Anyway, today I'm going to the mall to get all of my returns done. It's a pain in the ass, but I guess I've got to get it done sometime!

Lazy day

Today was a nice lazy day before Christmas. I ended up getting the day off of work so I got everything ready for when I go out of town. Clean my room, laundry, wrapping, nails and facial. I feel rested and ready for almost anything that'll be thrown at me this weekend!

I used Ole Henriksen's 3 step facial. Honestly, it's the most wonderful face products I've ever used. The 2nd step lemon is great because you really feel the zing of the acid on your skin. It's great. The results are really obvious too. After I do it, my skin looks brighter, younger and more awake. It's pricey, but definitely worth the buy.

Hot Nails

Tried one of the new Sally Hansen Salon Effects 2011 Christmas Edition nail strips. This print is called Snow Bunny. Found these on sale for $7.99 at Shoppers. I am SO in love with this nail art look!

Time to relax

These last couple of weeks have been super stressful, but it's all finally paid off! Christmas holidays are here! I have't seen any of my family from back home since Thanksgiving, so I'm really excited to see everyone.

I'm working all weekend again, but it's defintely gonna pay off since I'll be off for 2 weeks. This week I have a lot of Christmas shopping to do... my mom, dad, stepdad, boyfriend, etc., I'm hoping to get it all done in one trip.

Sometimes I wish I wore glasses....

Cha-Ching!

My order came in today from Abercrombie. Lot's of nice things! My favourite thing is definitely the corduroy jeggings. They're so so soft and comfortable.

This weekend I'm not doing too much since exams are coming up. Staying concentrated on my studying is hard. I'm just taking a little break before I get back at it.

Beauty Haul!

So Christmas time is coming up and I've been doing lot's of shopping! I've also been treating myself a little bit as well :)

A while back I bought the new Benefit They're Real Mascara when it first came out. It's a really great mascara, but takes some getting used to. The wand is really thick, similar to the Covergirl Lash Blast wand. My only other complaint is that washing it off can be really difficult and takes scrubbing. But anyway, I picked up a tube for one of my Christmas gifts for my sister.
Next thing I need was a new blush. I just ran out of my NARS orgasm. I really like it and have been using it for years, but I decided to try something new. This Benefit blush called Dandelion, it's a very soft pink with a hint of shimmer. It's is supposed to brighten your face and make you look more awake. - Something I definitely need! So I'm going to try this out..

While waiting in line in Sephora, I seen these Boscia nose strips. It wasn't until I checked my receipt after I left that I paid 20 dollars for just 6 strips! I haven't tried them yet, but I'm hoping for a more effective result in comparison to the Biore strips.
I ordered this Harajuku Lovers Jingle G purfume online last night, since it's not available in store. The cute packaging really sold me and for just $25 why not?

Okay, well there's more to come but that's for another day!
